President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Abraham Mose and CEO of PT Indonesian Defense and Security Technologies (IDST), Emrah Dundar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the field of defense and security in the Lobby Room of PT Pindad (Persero), Turen, Malang, East Java on Tuesday (24/8/2021).
Pindad and IDST agreed to cooperate in various forms, including investment, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul), Sales & Marketing, Technology Transfer, Strategic Suppliers, Funding and various other agreements contained in the Memorandum of Understanding.
Tutur witnessed the signing of the MOU of the Director of Defense and Security Products Business; Wijil Jadmiko Budi, Director of Technology and Development; Ade Bagdja, Director of Business Strategy; Syaifuddin and the echelon 1 of Pindad.
In his remarks, Abraham Mose stated that Pindad was grateful for the opportunity for cooperation that had been given and was a great momentum between Pindad and IDST.
“Hopefully this cooperation will produce a win win cooperation, a joint solution to produce things that are beneficial for both parties. Furthermore, if there are things that need to be added in the future, Pindad is ready to support and establish further relationships.” Abraham Mose explained, quoting his statement Wednesday (25/8/2021).
The activity was then continued by reviewing the Pindad production facility located in Turen, Malang specifically to produce munitions and has produced several variants of munitions, both small caliber munitions; Cal. 5.56mm, Cal. 7.62mm, Cal. 9.19mm, large caliber munition; Cal. 90mm, Cal. 105mm, Hand Grenades to Bombs.
In the future, Pindad will continue to develop defense and security products and industrial products to support national defense and development.
