Indonesia’s local defense industry, led by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, is participating in the 16th International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) 2023, which has been taking place in Abu Dhabi from February 20-24, 2023.
IDEX 2023 is a biennial international defense exhibition and conference which features exhibits and demonstrations of defense-related equipment and technology from around the world, as well as networking opportunities for defense industry professionals.
Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto also held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Qasr Al Watan Abu Dhabi. At the meeting, they discussed various defense issues, defense industry, modern military technology, and the relationship between the two friendly countries in the field of defense and military cooperation.
As one of the defense industry companies in Indonesia, IDST also attended conferences and discussion forums held as part of the IDEX 2023 events to gain experience and knowledge in the defense industry with professionals and industry leaders from various countries, and as a significant step in promoting Indonesia’s industrial potential on the world stage and improving cooperation networks with defense industry companies from other countries.
